We also have the Terminal Identity line of cyberpunk-genre products for d20 Modern/Future (a gear book is currently in layout, in fact), and are one of the team of 4 publishers that puts out Modern Dispatch.

Woohoo! When is the gear book scheduled to come out and what PL's will the gear be covering?

I have to add a plug for Emerald Press, with the Modern Campaign Options: Treasure Hunter sourcebook and the first in a series of adventures in that genre, "The Mystery and the Tomb."

Woohoo! When is the gear book scheduled to come out and what PL's will the gear be covering?

Though centered in the Fusion Age, the upcoming book concentrates on tech that works with the feel of the CP genre. Our ethos is to use the D20 system to bring ideas from the literature to life -- including a few mainstays of the genre that you don't see that often. In the book, there's one very literal way I can think of where we give "style" the "substance" a player needs to make it fun.

I'm in the process of writing a time travel based game "Time Trap", which will include a rewrite of my Fighter and Space Combat rules as well as something I call "Dreamnet" I'm not ready to go yet, but I expect it to be an excellent supplement. I also have written a superheros supplement Power Overwhelming, which was my first attempt to write RPG supplements.

BTW I noticed today while reviewing the STG that you can't currently mention D20 Future in SRD covered products. Anyone have ideas why?

I'm not sure what you mean by "STG," but d20 Future is a copyrighted and trademarked title of one of WotC's books. You can't use "d20 Future" for the same reason you can't use "Dungeons & Dragons" and for the same reason (or at least one of them) that they release the material in a system reference document as opposed to just having cite to the title of the book in Section 15 of the OGL.

Sorry for the confusion STG - System Trademark Guide (the title as it appears on the title page of the document).
In citing needed books by WotC (mandatory trademark use) it lists all of the books that can be identified by name (in the "Requires the use of..." blocks) and among them are D20 Modern and Urban Arcana. The question is, since Future is part of the Modern set of books (and a very popular one that people would be likely to cite for their Future based campaign models, etc.), why hasn't the Usage Guide been updated to reflect 3rd party Future suplements?

Who knows. I have noticed that several publishers are ignoring this fact and listing D20 Future in their marketing and products, anyway. I usually use "futuristic rules" or "futuristic SRD" and just hope people know what I'm talking about.

I do wish WotC would add D20 Future to the list of trademarks we can use to indicate compatability. "Requires the D20 Modern and D20 Future . . . " would sure help.

It doesn't hurt them enough to bother. Legal changes are too expensive and troublesome for WotC to make it a project. However, I doubt anyone there would complain about using the TM in the same way you're allowed to refer the d20 Modern rules. For PDF, I'd take the risk. A change is easy enough to make. For print, I'd toe the line.
