[d20 Modern] House Rules?

BiggusGeekus

That's Latin for "cool"
So far our group has come up with two:

1) In order that the players may generate characters without my supervision, I permit all Wealth loss roles to have assumed values. "3" when they have to roll 1d6 and "7" when they have to roll 2d6.

2) Anytime someone takes a level of Charismatic Hero, the rest of the group must give him a sincere "thumbs up".

Others?

Crothian,

Thanks for the link.

The "tumbs up"

simply a metagaming trick to emphasize that the player with a level of charismatic hero is, in fact, charismatic. Sort of a positive reinforcement thing.

I am currently working on something for MD, too. I just don't have it finished at the moment.

But, I will tell you that I am worknig on tweaking the DC. Making the DC for MD relative to your current level. I just don't agree with the static DC, that is all.

I planned on play testing them first, also.

That won't be a problem since Kreynolds will be running the game for awhile. That will give me time to contemplate the effectiveness of the current system.

I have 3 sessions under my belt as GM with 4 players, and let me tell you the system is SLEEK !

The only house rule so far I am considering is the one proposed in my Non Lethal Damage thread.

We also use a few small imported house rules from our D&D games, but these are rules we use overall on all our d20 games (so far D&D, Star Wars, and d20 modern).
