d20 modern in iSilo format for Palm and PocketPC

Plane Sailing

Astral Admin - Mwahahaha!
Kenjib has already done a fantastic work in compiling a PDF of the d20 modern SRD.

For those of you who would be interested in carrying it around on your PDA, I've created an iSilo version of the same document - all you need is the iSilo reader on your PDA and you'll be away (www.isilo.com for the reader).

I'm gradually improving the quality of the iSilo version (turning more things into proper tables) - I'll upload it here tomorrow (it would be helpful to know if anyone is interested in it... I know that PDA/iSilo is a smaller target market than PDF :)

Cheers

OK, here is the current version on it. I'll upload a replacement once I've had time to sort out a few more of the tables.

I use a high-res Sony Clie, which works wonders with this sort of thing. If you find that some aspect of it is problematical on a standard PalmOS device (160x160) let me know and I'll try to resolve it.

The zip file is 433k, the unzipped iSilo document is 467k.

Cheers

Wow. It works great - including, somewhat to my surprise, the tables, with simple dragging right or left.

You rock, a lot.

I do have one request, though.

Would you put the bits in order of their appearance in the rule book? (Or pass me the HTML and I'll do it, as you want.) I'd, for instance, "The Basics" to be up near the top.

Hi Bruce,

I avoided the alphabetical listing that the SRD files were given in because it didn't make much sense to me, and I put it in an order that I anticipated having the most-used or most-important details near the top.

I didn't have the d20modern book at that time, and now I do I'll see about switching the order around to match that better (although do you *really* want "the basics" up near the top? It's not as if you'll ever really refer to it, surely :))

I have some friends who don't own any version of D&D3 or d20M who'd like to refer to this as well, so yeah, actually, ordering like in print would be handy.

Just a note to say that I've updated the downloadable version (higher up in this thread), improving the readability of the Monsters section, the Spell section and the Vehicles section.

Cheers
