"D20 Modern" in Oct 2002

Wouldn't Buffy require an "Angst Hero"?
Maybe an "Annoying Hero" for Cordillia and Anya?
"ButtMonkey" Prestige class for Xander?
"Fallen Hero" for Faith?

"Fanged Hero" for Angel?
"Wise Hero" for Gilles?
"Anti Hero" for Spike?
"Annoying Teen Sidekid" for Dawn?

And I'd use the thug rule from SW (no WP, dead with a critical) for the buffyvampires, of course...

Okay! I now have to get a subscription to Dungeon. I love this whole 'new D20 game every issue'. Any news on some of the forthcomming D20 settings?

You know, if the rest of the gang are Scoobies, she's definitely the Scrappy. And I mean that in the worst possible way.

That's how it works in Shadow Chasers: since undead have no CON, if they run out of VP they lie down and stay down until the next night, when they get back up again. But if you do a critical to an undead with its particular weakness (e.g. do a critical to vampire with a wooden stake) -- *poof*!

Hey is Reputation making an appearance as well.

Heh Heh, this is why I love Deadlands d20. A lot of their nasty monsters run on a similar concept. You can kill them all you want, but unless someone actualy does some research. They'll just keep coming back, nastier each time.

So I wonder if these templates are ECL'ed. I wonder something else too.

With VP/WP and an alternate AC system always making appearences in every WotC product EXCEPT DND, I'm begining to think that we're seeing what the company originaly wanted to come out with for 3rd ed. But they feared to make such radical changes so fast, remember the woorahrah that 3rd. brought with it's minor changes.

Too Many Subscriptions ... and no Ten Million Dollars

Okay I'm getting conflicting news here ... help me out, guys.

Is Dungeon magazine phasing out?

If not, will the magazine merged with Polyhedron into one magazine?

If not that, will Dungeon and Polyhedron alternate on a monthly basis (Dungeons comes out in January, March, May, and so forth while Polyhedron comes out in February, April, June, and so forth)?

The Sixth Man on the Team...

BTW, thanks for answering my question.

Does anyone know what will be the name for the sixth Hero class whose strongpoint is based on the Constitution ability? So far, I think I narrowed it down to three possibilities:
  • The Tough Hero
  • The Healthy Hero
  • The Resilient Hero

What issue number will that be? Is it in the Polyhedron section or the Dungeon section?

Polyhedron section, May/June issue, I don't know how they number Poly but it will be Dungeon 92 I think.
