[d20 Modern] Morrow Project

Doors and Corners
I've started my conversion of my Morrow Project materials to d20 Modern (which is to say that I've opened my box and begun to daydream about it). Has anyone else thought of doing this?

Morrow Project is a great setting, but the rules are a disaster. You're best off using the books for the source material and scrapping the system entirely.

As much as I think d20 Modern is incredibly mediocre, it's still better than what Morrow Project had.

i have thought about it. a friend of mine has Morrow Project and it could work well with d20M, IMO (but i haven't read through it in a long time...and it'll be a while before i run a game again - all of the five of us in our group run games)

i picked up Fringeworthy to see how well i thought that setting would work too...

d20 Modern Morrow Project

I've been running a post-apocalyptic d20 Modern campaign for almost a year, and it's been great. Not strictly Morrow Project, but pretty Morrow-Projecty.

I can't really think of any conversion you'd need to do, other than statting a little bit of equipment and figuring out how to best handle equipment acquisition in a setting where the Wealth system has no bearing.

The similarities between Stargate and Fringeworthy are quite striking. However, I doubt that the creators of Stargate have even heard of Fringeworthy.

Mr. Ryan, I know your busy, but being a big fan of P.A. stuff, I was wondering if you would mind giving us a little insight into your Campaign?
Warm Regards,

You're probably right. Synicism is definitely right. The rules are a total mess. The only thing really worth saving is all the non-rules stuff. I've already started doing up the MAR vehicles and such. I'm working LOTS of hours lately, but I'll throw up what I get done after some work.

Interesting how different people have different expectations and things which they appreciate.

Personally, I really like the d20Modern rules and think they are anything but a mess. I'm really looking forward to playing/DMing with them, and see lots of potential.
