d20 Modern... Sci-fi?

As I eagerly await my copy of d20 Modern to arrive in the mail, I figured I ask this:

Are there any publishers planning to do d20 Modern products in a sci-fi setting?

I've been contemplating buying Traveller d20, as I'm interested in "harder" sci-fi; Star Wars d20 just doesn't do it for me. But ever since Shadow Chasers came out in Polyhedron, I've been dying to see the d20 Modern rules applied to a sci-fi setting.

So, anyone planning to do this? Or am I going to see nothing but more Buffy-esque products?

Mongoose has two sci-fi RPGs released in the first quarter of next year (WarMech and the game-we-cannot-yet-mention) and we looked at using D20 Modern for both. However, as we have a habit of completely disassembling the D20 rules to keep close to the genre (rather than the other way around), we have found the core rules to be _far_ more flexible than D20 Modern.

But then, that is just my opinion

dear god you would have a best seller on your hands then..imagine the inquisition, the space marine, the comissar all parts of a d20 game..i would become a chaos spawn in a matter of seconds holding the golden chalice that that book would be...<drool>

To add to the replies.

Dark Quest Games will be rereleasing the Cyber Style Series of products for use with the D20 Modern system. In addition there will be new material emerging on a regular basis.

These include the first release designed solely for D20Modern, the Corporations Handbook and the alternative world setting of Whisper City.

We haven't officially announced it, but we are looking at doing a 2nd edition Darwin's World using the d20 Modern rules.
