[d20 Modern] Starcraft Campaign Setting?

I was thinking of using a Zerg Template, since all Zerg are mostly is mutated animals changed into Zerg.

I was thinking along the path that a Ghost would be more fitting for a Prestige class than an Advance class, since Ghost do require years of training.

Also daTim, the Impaler is locked at semiautomatic firing mode to conserve ammo. Its in the SC manual.

I wouldn't count the Mantis Screamer (fore-runner of the Mutalisk) as an "Animal" :)

Are there PrCs in D20 Modern?
Even if Ghost is an Advanced Class, most Ghosts encountered on the Battlefield would have many levels of Ghost.

Many Ghosts are scientists, technicians and what-not; they could be Smart/Field Scientist/Ghost, for instance. They're not all assassins and commandos. Stukov, for instance, was a researcher of Zerg more than he was a warrior.

there are, but they're being saved for the supplements... (although a couple have been published in one of the Polyhedron d20 Modern settings, but at this very moment, i can't remember which one)
 

For a Ghost teh Infiltrator seems to work very well except for the improvised weapon bit. Most of the abilities the ghost used were mechanical related like stealth, the lock down and nuke. You might allow a Ghost to take levels in the battlemind if you thought they needed more Psi (like the books say they have, but you never see in game).
 


Minor nit: under Class Skills you still say "The Gunslinger’s class skills ..."

It's a very nice writeup. My two biggest complaints are that the true Ghost abilities (Cloak, Lockdown and Call Strike) rely on physical objects to use. While Call Strike makes sense (I would leave it alone, as is), I see Cloak as more of a psychic ability and Lockdown as well. I know that in StarCraft, Lockdown was done with a shot, but it seriously cripples a character if they somehow lose their Lockdown rounds as it is written. Same with Cloak.

I would make both Spell-like abilities with a limit per day, or special Psionic powers with a limit on the number of PP's they can spend within a time period.
 

I am considering to make a Zerg/Alien "guest" Appearance in my SpaceExperiences(homebrew) / Dragonstar Universe.

The background will be changed (they will be a mixture of natural creatures, genetic analysis and breeding by humanoid scientist and a weak ally with Formian Invades), but the basic creatures might be found again. Maybe I will be able to post a link to some of the creautres, if and when I mastered the session for it.

I don`t think Stukov was a Ghost, though I must admit, I am not sure...

Stukov was a Ghost and so was Dugalle (in the game anyway), although both DO NOT fit the role of a ghost, who are mostly assassins. The only reason they were ghost because they just didn't fit any other unit.
