D20 Modern Websites: Where are they?

I just wanted to say that any new site that can link to or carry some of the stuff I have found online would be a good thing. If we can just a main database if you will it would rock. For Anime you have the Anime Web Turnpike (Anipike @ www.anipike.com) and I think if something like that could be done where authors could still get there credit where it is due but have it all in one place it would be great. Random Thoughts.

Well, I can say this: It sometimes takes a while for a game to catch on so popularly that fan sites spring up. After all, Spycraft is - what? Two years old now? - and it doesn't have more than a handful. d20 Modern's been out for about 4 full months now, which isn't a lot of time.

That said, this also mean's that there is a HUGE gaping hole for that category - a site that is the one-stop shop for Modern Open Game content.

One year old this March. Spycraft has a good many months headstart before the November release of d20 Modern.

Plus it focus one one modern genre category: superspy. Whereas d20 Modern is more fundamental, basic, and allow a wide range of modern genres. It's up to you to decide how you want to use the ruleset for a specific type of modern-day campaign.

Well, I have begun working on 'Murder and Crime, Inc.' the D20 Modern site for Realms of Evil. I am adding a lot of mafia/mobster/drug cartel information to this particular site, so expect a lot of NPC characters :)

I am also adding an Urban Fantasy section which'll detail material and such for a modern fantasy campaign :)

That's it? O_o You think a popular as the book was, there would be more fan sites centered around D20 Modern.

Some of us, like myself for instance, are just extraordinarily lazy. :D

I had the basic code for my D&D campaign site done ages ago (and why not, I was using a template I DLed to make it); I couldn't get the menu color right no matter what I did, so I have yet to upload it... That was almost a year ago.

I hear you, man. It's hard work running *any* Web site, even a fan site. If your site is essentially your hobby and you're not getting paid for it, things like your real world job and your family obligations (heck, even the commitment you have to running your weekly game!) always have to take precendence. It's one of the problems I'm constantly running up against.
