Uh, what? Is that really a product RPG.now wants to be associated with?

It looks mostly like a sort of scam.

You can say that you don't like the idea, but it's wrong (and borderline libelous) to call it a scam.

I've read Geek's Dream Girl for a while now, and while I've never used it, the service is one she's offered since her page went up, and seems completely legitimate in every regard.

wow...$250...
so many comments possible...
Interesting idea though. Seems to reinforce the whole "geeks have no social skills" stereotype, but I bet most people, geeks included, just don't know how to present themselves in a profile.

That's simply a brilliant idea. I don't know if it works. I'm not sure it's completely honest. But it's a brilliant idea.

They're geniuses for thinking this up. I wonder how many buyers they get.

Actually, that's not really out of line with a professional dating service in the physical world. You can pay even higher fees for the more discerning companies. (Ones that do background checks, ensure you have a certain level of education and income, and generally connect people who expect a lot more out of their partner.)

While I don't know anything about this particular service, the kind of help their offering is certainly worth the $250 fee. (If they are of good quality, that is.)

That is a very very iffy service for RPGNOw. I know the supposed value of these services, but hteir results are so emphemereal and vague that the line between thier service and getting nothing at all is a very fine line.

Yes, there are tricks to getting better results form online ads and profiles, but I see little value in their "service" and the OP seems to me to be an advertisement, and not a discussion of the validity of this kind of service, so I think it violates Enworld's ruels.
