Except in terms of value judgments. But yes, it is a genuine service, and the only difference between GDG from other dating services is the audience she's focusing on (Geeks) and that it's focusing primarily on internet dating.and seems completely legitimate in every regard.
Aye. Matchmaker International, for instance, costs $1,500 for their lowest level package.Actually, that's not really out of line with a professional dating service in the physical world.
I was seriously ripped off by MatchMaker, so I'm very wary of any dating service.
I recall hearing something on the John Tesh show about a book on Online Dating, and how men don't know how to communicate with women. It's not just profiles, but email communication, IMs, etc etc.but I bet most people, geeks included, just don't know how to present themselves in a profile.
Careful, you might go blind."Rolling my OWN dice", -- N
I've been off-and-on watching GDG's site. e seems like a really nice person. I have issues with the whole thing, but I hold nothing against e.
