What products focus on cities?

There's Mithril and the necromancer city from Scarred Lands.

There's Bluffside.

There WAS the publisher (starts with an "A") who was making a nice-sounding city system (River-something? something-river?). Not in the d20 reviews any more, though. :( :(

What else is there?

Sounds like you're thinking of Windhaven by Affinity Games. Yeah, that looked really cool, but things seem kind of slow over there.

Let's se...

Atlas Games: Seven Cities

Green Ronin: Freeport

MEG: Bluffside

SSS: Mithril, Hollowfaust.

I totally agree that there aren't enough books with cities as the main focus in them. This is especially true in adventurers where every thing seems to involve small frontier towns, even higher level modules.

Necromancer Games has been constantly delaying the release of Bard's Gate; perhaps if the throngs of fans that enjoy city-based supplements would go to Necro and let them know...

;)

At the risk of being self-promoting, Otherworld is going to publish "Cities:Born In Stone", written by moi, which is a book ABOUT cities, rather than a book OF cities (though there are several samples, including cyberpunk and space opera cities). It's a guide to creating, populating, and running adventures in cities, and, pending editing decisions, includes everything from random pickpocket tables to a whole lot of new uses for "Gather Information".

I like the sound of that. How close are we to seeing it?
