d20 products focused around cities?

Although we have more coming out for Bluffside (adventures and supplements) I was hoping to get a look at Windhaven also.

As city book fans would you rather us:
Do more for Bluffside?
or
Do more cities like Bluffside?

As a side note although different both Bluffside and Freeport are great cities and seem to be different enough where they are both usable in almost any campaign setting together.

Ok, that is all from me...for now

I would like more for Bluffside. I want to know what happened to the orginal people of the valley. I want to know the secrets of the Tower.

There you go, you already answered the question unknowingly in the first part.

Take over WIndhaven and publish it. Yeah, that's the ticket.

On other notes, it's difficult to say. Bluffside is great and fully functional by itself but expansions are always great. I'd prefer to see 'em done in 64 page blocks though, perhaps combining an area or two of the city.

G'day all,

How about these ones the Kingdoms of Kalamar City of Tears book (Gwyn-something or other), Nec's (soon to be released) City of Brass. I think Privateer Press have planes for Corvis and the Space Station in Raw Recruits (I think that's it, the Dragonstar module by MEG) is a kind'a city. City of Union from ELH?

Cheers

Hal: Why not do both Bluffside expansions and introduce more new, fantastic cities?

I'm going to guess at this one.

1. Resoureces: Authors, Printers, Money.

2. Time. Turnaround from authors, printers, and of course, money.

I believe MEG's goal is 2 books a month and they've got so much going on now they're well on the way to meeting that goal.

Gee... you would almost think I don't work with MEG on occasion. :p

I'm not meaning for Hal and pals to get started on both of those options just yet; I'm suggesting that the ideas get put on the product schedule in the future.

:)

Hell I'm all for that. I'd love to see them actually do some stuff with Bluffside that could make it compatibile with Dragonstar (space station), and d20 Modern (maybe a west coast city where a new metal is mined?)

Do both Hal. Just do more ON Bluffside FIRST then do another city in the same STYLE as Bluffside (definately different from Bluffside though)

You should check the Heart of Glass from Troll Lord Games, our first Companion Book. This book rocks (if I do say so myself).

• Complete Fantasy Setting of the Sea Towns of Ihlsa. The setting comes complete with city
history, description of areas of interest, relevant NPCs and monsters, 41 encounter areas.

• 16 x 21 Fold out, “Flip” Map of the Sea Towns. One side depicts the Sea Towns as the “artist” might see them, the other is a fully playable to scale map of the Sea Towns.

• New monsters, new spells and new magic items. The Soul Thief, the Blood Runes and Heart all come to life in the Heart of Glass.

• A complete adventure for characters level 2-3. The adventure can serve as a night’s play or
for the more campaign oriented as a back drop to a whole range of games for varying levels.

• The Crna Ruk Prestige Class, two classes in one. These dread assassin priests of the horned god bring a new meaning to the assassin.

• Hlobane Orcs Monster and Class. The Hlobane nation is one of histories’ greatest and most
feared tribes of Orcs. Organized, disciplined and devoted to each other, these creatures stand above other humanoids. Play one or fight one!

• A complete adventure wherein the PCs are pitted against the underworld of Ihlsa. A war of thieves is overwhelming Ihlsa, and behind it are the shadowy figures of Lords of Helliwell. It is yours to unseat them and bring peace back to the underworld. Ideally designed for adventure levels 3-5.
