I'm glad to hear about Slave Lords though. I'll be curious to see how it handles.

You should have it soon (although Osseum is at SoCal so that's bound to delay the review copies going out).

Hey Billy-- If you're not on a reviewer list for a comp copy and you'd like to review it, drop me an email and I'll get you one. Heck, you'd probably have it before Joe. (heh heh)

Northern Crown

In 2005 we'll be releasing Northern Crown: New World Adventures, in two volumes. This is a d20 setting of a fantasy vision of colonial North America -- formerly known as Septentrionalis, in its much smaller and less developed free-web-download incarnation.

Atlas continues to grow (on November 30, we surpassed our total sales for all of 2003, which itself had higher revenues than 2002), but we're a pretty diversified company, and we've been finding the launch of Ars Magica 5th Edition and our many non-collectable card games to be a lot more profitable than d20, so that's where our investment has been going of late. Still, Northern Crown is so cool that we just really, really want to publish it...so we will! :)

And that's one of the things that makes Atlas so cool. While Nyambe might not have meet with 'critical' success, it was something different. While the free Ares Magica 4th edition may not have brought in the masses, it was something different.

I salute you John Nephew and hope that you continue to try innovative things.

Bloodstone is still around and planning a big year for 2005. Last year was our best year yet (after 3 years at this now). In 2005 we'll be releasing a lot of new material for 1948, Untamed Legends, Once Upon a Time, and several other lines that have not yet been announced.

We'll also be launching a new web design, rearranging our product lines, and diversifying into other areas of publishing including non-fiction.

Despite an extra-ordinarily quiet year we are still about. Circumstances affecting Ben and myself, alongside a big project, have stalled us this year. However, 2005 will see our schedule pick back up and provide our customers with a few more treats to look forward to :)

Pisces All Media in 2005

Pisces All Media, an Australian game publishing company will be having a fairly large 2005.

We have a few new rulebooks for our Golden d20 system, including Bronze (our fantasy setting), a new edition of Golden (pulp heroes, gangsters and g-men) and Emerald (detailing our unique magic system and all associated subjects).

On top of that we've recently attained the rights to publish Tunnels and Trolls adventures with flying Buffalo Inc and we're currently bringing out a diverse range of these solitaires, with d20 conversion rules and rules for expanding them into fully fledged multi-player campaigns, in our Earth Yvoire setting, as well as solitaires and adventures for Golden, Eternium, Bronze and Brimstone.

After that we only have to worry about the television miniseries we're putting together and all the comicbooks and novelisations we have in production.

Like I said, it's going to be a big year down under.

Atlantean Press is becoming less of a pipe dream. It's like a little eaglet, in its shell waiting to hatch. Our aim is produce products that do not suck. For us, avoiding suckage (which is in the Eye of the Beholder) is being consistent with the rules we use. So basically, we need a very good rules lawyer to be our game editor (where only they are most useful).

We are technically an OGC publisher and not a d20 system one. This is simply because while we've decided to be good at rules, we are venturing into the World of Pulp and the imagination of Frazetta and Edgar Rice Burroughs. Both of us appreciate the human body of what it is, so we won't be using the d20 STL and logo for a majority of our products.
