You'll have to goto their websites and see what they want and what their submission guidelines are. Some are looking for specific submitted materials others will look at almost anything.

The other thing is even if you work for a publishing company getting your stuff across is a pain if you work in the wrong area.

WotC OGC is to be found in the SRDs, above, so if it ain't in the SRD, it ain't OGC - which means you can't use it.

That's not completely true. Unearthed Arcana and d20 Modern Weapons Locker are both WotC books and both have OGC in them and both are not part of the xRDs (at least not yet).

It was true when it was written. That post is dated 12-09-2002.
