Thank you! (Btw there are some nice druid spells in both Relics and Rituals books as well as clerical spells too! :) )

Yikes, good luck. What are your standards for "resource"? Seems like as soon as you have the list done, it might be out of date. I am with ya on the idea, but there is SO much out there. Seems like a cross referencing nightmare.

I am trying to compile a list of d20 resources for each class. I don't want you to rank resources as being better/worse than others - I'm just looking to get a comprehensive list. I'll start some of these off myself. Supplements that help multiple classes should be listed in multiple locations (e.g., Masters of the Wild, below).

Barbarian
Heroes of High Favor: Half-Orcs (Bad Axe Games)
Masters of the Wild (WotC)

Bard
Song and Silence (WotC)
Path of Magic (FFG)
Enchiridion of Mysti Music (S.T. Cooley Publishing - PDF)
The Bard's Companion (www.dmshaven.com - PDF)

Cleric

Druid
Masters of the Wild (WotC)

Fighter
Heroes of High Favor: Dwarves (Bad Axe)
Quintessential Fighter (Mongoose)
Sword and Fist (WotC)

Monk
Beyond Monks - Art of the Fight (Chainmail Bikini - PDF)
Sword and Fist (WotC)

Paladin

Ranger
Masters of the Wild (WotC)

Rogue

Sorcerer

Wizard

----

Would do more but am about to leave for lunch. Let's see what you can all come up with in an hour. Quote the above, remove the "quote" tags and make your additions, please. :)

Unfortunatley due to problems with both one of the writers and the art, this product has not been released yet. It is still in production... waiting...

Alchemy and Herbalism (Bastion)

Perhaps. Oh, and the standard for "resource" is pretty loose - basically, does it fit the, "if I were a player playing class X, and money were basically no object, would it be worth my time to get book Y?"

I had three goals with this.

1.) Hopefully, I'd get pointed to some stuff I haven't seen before.

2.) This list could forever be getting "bumped" when new products come along and give other folks a chance to see stuff - the "list" should never be out of date. Or finished. :)

3.) I was curious to see if my suspicions on which classes were underrepresented in terms of extra material were correct (they were - I suspected that Wizards/Sorcerers had the most, followed by Fighters, followed by Clerics - mostly because doing spells for Wizards is easy and everybody has a take to try to "balance" a high-level fighter with a spellslinger --- and that supplements for the Druid, Ranger, and Monk are underrepresented). Interestingly, I have a theory as to why the Druid, Ranger, and Monk are underrepresented - pigeonholing the class (esp. through special abilities) into one role. Druid and Monk abilities are based on level and don't change - they don't get to select from virtual feat chains, et al. A 15th level Monk looks like almost every other 15th level Monk. Same for a Druid. Rangers are very similar - with a small selection of spells and few other "customizable" abilities, the only big difference between Ranger Joe and Ranger Bob will be Favored Enemies. That's a bad thing (TM) and one I hope will be changed somewhat in 3.5

(Paladins, BTW, have seen extensions or their range of cababilities through their channelling ability, and bards have seen extensions through their music ability and barbarians through their rage abilities - but they are the next least-represented group).

A fascinating thought, really - the more "slots" for abilities you have - rather than "abilities" themselves (e.g., spell slots, thief special abilities at high levels, fighter bonus feats, etc), the easier it is to create class books. The fewer such "slots," the more difficult it is.

Lesson to be learned? Less "level X grants ability Y" and more "Level X grants an ability from list Y."

Following is the first sentense under Monk in Character Customization, coming soon, really:
All monks are the same. Odd, they worship all kinds of different deities.
Man, I've got to get that thing finished.

Enchanter:

Joe's Book of Enchantment - Joe Municello

Occult Lore - Penumbra
