Well ... I haven't bought a game book from my not-so FLGS for years now, except for out of print stuff they were flogging off at sales. Frankly the internet is a MUCH better place to find anything RPG related. Perhaps that's because I live in Australia? (in Sydney, the largest city no less, which has all of about 3 game stores - and they are all within 3 blocks of each other in the CBD - woe to the suburban gamer)Treebore said:If people have to hunt for a product the product is in all likelihood going to stay a niche product because no one is even going to know it exists. Traveller always seemed to rely on word of mouth more than any real kind of advertisement. Guess their happy being obscure.
Traveller T20 is brilliantly supported online, which is all I need or want. I can order their product over the web, and as much of it is available as PDFs I can get a lot of it instantly, at a very cheap price.
