d20 Weapons Locker/Fire Power the same thing?

Keith Potter wrote the book and I believe Richard Stewart and N. David Martin did the illustrations. I saw the original art they planned on using for the front cover years ago (it seems) and I recall, correctly I belive, that Richard said is was by Joe Wight of Antarctic Press fame. So who knows...

They were bouncing arouund a thread that was titled Modern Firearms 1950-2000 or something like that.

That thread may have referred to yet another gun book for D20 by the same title. It was supposed to be published by Agents of Gaming before they folded after losing the B5 license, and then it was slated for publication by Sanguine, who dropped it after flubbing on a few non-Ironclaw projects. To date, the 2-volume set of Modern Firearms 1950-2000 remains unpublished. Thanks to the appearance of UMF, Weapons Locker, Arsenal, and Big Bang, I doubt there will be any interested publishers for it at this point either.

So at least the author is the same as the book of the previous thread. If it is the same book, then the differences between it and UMF should be several hundred weapons...

So who knows, WotC is a month away for releasing it and I have found little info about it.

Well, if that's the case, then we'll have to wonder if WotC condensing the two volume set into one book, or can we hopefully expect to see a second volume released?
