Daggermaster - weapon advise?

I'm currently playing a brutal scoundrel rogue and I'm looking for suggestions for weapons once I get to daggermaster. With the 18-20 threat range, I am thinking a weapon with a cool crit effect would be best. The two magical daggers that really stood out were:

- viscious = 3d12 for a +3 weapon is pretty huge
- bloodiron = 3d10 plus another 3d10 the next round automatically.

Add in devastating critical for another additional 1d10. Anyone with any advise for a good dagger? Thanks!

Depending on your dex mod, you might want that enchantment that does your dex mod for each plus on a crit.

It will only out-do bloodiron if your dex mod is more than 11 (which is unlikely), but personally I think that the earlier application of the damage is worth the slight loss you might take.
 

Bloodiron is very nice, but I still have a soft spot for Wraithblade (dragon 364).

Getting your Sneak Attack multiple times a round is a wonderful thing.

A Dex mod of 11 is not only unlikely, it's impossible. Starting with an 18, +2 from race, +2 from Demigod, +2 in heroic, +3 in paragon, +3 in epic = 30, for a mod of +10 at level 28. That is currently the highest you can possibly get any single score in the game. So I guess bloodiron is the way to go ;)

Yet the 1-4 really puts me off.

But I like the look of 18 to 20 crits.

One solution off of the top of my head - play a bugbear with a Large dagger (1d6 damage) ;)

But seriously, I'd say that this little problem is there by design, and shouldn't be easily worked around. Most characters can only ever achieve 19-20 crits, and that's at minimum level 21. The only other way to achieve 18-20 crits is with Sunder Armor, the warlord 7 encounter (lets any attack on the target crit on 18-20, but only until the end of your next turn).

W = 1-4 is liberating. You are not a slave to pick the encounter or daily with the highest W mod, you can pick them based on what else they do.
