Haven't read the whole post (or the Daggerspell Mage description), aren't these abilities, or similar ones, covered in the Soulknife (which should have stayed a PrC, but what can you do...)?

Actually, no. There is very little, if anything in common between the Soulknife and the Daggerspell Mage/Psion.
