D&D General DALL·E 3 does amazing D&D art

Was that exactly what you imagined in every detail? If so, that's incredibly lucky! Because I get what Overgeeked is getting at. If you have a general idea or no specific depiction in your head, the image generation can be perfectly fine, maybe even better then that depending on the model used, the subject and the prompt skills.

But if you go, I want this specific tattoo on the left cheek... You're going to get disappointed!
And, as of now at least, you can really ask AI to make revisions.

Prompt: Half-elf cleric close up portrait, soft caramel skin, copper-red silk vestments with black velvet trim and a ruby pin. Mischievous smirk. Almost plain backdrop with copper and charcoal splashes, rich painterly oil style.
I like how you don't specify "copious amounts of cleavage," but the AI helpfully inserts it anyway. You'd think the default for "cleric" would be a bit more modest.

Come to think of it, you didn't even specify female. Did it give you any male options? Or is that a separate setting somewhere that just wasn't included in the prompt?

I dont know about that one, I just use Dall-E, but Dall-E specifically has issues with trying to work outside of terms that are predominately associated with one sex or the other.

My Goliath, intended to be muscular, strong, and powerful, sometimes just gets spit out as a dude, even though I have multiple 'she' 'female' in the prompt.

This happens when your models are trained on copious amounts of pr0n, if you don't specify, it will default to non-male balloons... ;)

A female warrior stands on the roof top of a stone building looking out across the small village that is burning, her face is one of anger while she grips her sword wondering who had done such a thing.

I'm going to be running the Oracle of War adventure, "Song of the Sky", for my episodic Eberron campaign next. I've been having some fun using Bing's Image Creator to generate images of some of the main NPCs.

Sky Blue and Earl:

(I added Earl's war medal in Photoshop.)

Bugrilda, dwarf enforcer for the Fallen Fangs

(She's supposed to have teeth sharpened to points, but every time I tried to include something to that effect in the prompt, it made her look all bestial, often with tusks, and almost always with a beard!)

Khurse, gnoll leader of the Fallen Fangs

Irullan Karnach, necromancer with the Order of the Emerald Claw
