[QUOTE="RoughCoronet0, post: 9184222, member: 7031665"] We are back again with deity number 22, who arrives when peace and diplomacy fail. Korzirak, also known as The Cleansing Maw and The Umbral Guardian, is the shadow lord deity of destruction, balance, and guardianship, acting as the primary protector of Salvera from the forces of both light and darkness that leak into the plane through the old planar tears that dot the plane, which seek to disrupt the delicate balance the gods maintain in order to keep the Plane whole. He is depicted as a massive Tarrasque with monstrous and shadowy body with a jagged carapace like shell, a thick and powerful tail, a huge head with glowing eyes, two long horns protruding from his forehead, and a wide maw that radiates pure light from within. Shadowy energy constantly envelopes The Umbral Gaudian, while radiant white vapors are often seen escaping from his nostrils and mouth. Korzirak is one of the more active gods, often fighting the forces of the Defilers, the more malevolent Numinary, and the Outer Plane forces from the rest of the multiverse that leak through the old Planar Scars left from the Creator Wars. Various species revere Korzirak as a protector spirit, especially those that were once corrupted or enslaved by planar forces before being freed after the Creator Wars. The Shadar-Kai in particular consider Korzirak as their patron deity, having saved them from near destruction near the tail end of the Dark Elven Civil War (Shadar-Kai, the Drow, and the Twilight Elves were once the same species before a civil war cause them to fragment into three distinct sub-groups). Many Aasimar, Dhampir, and Tieflings also follow the doctrine of The Umbral Guardian.
