It took place in a large city ruled in an iron fist by a theocracy. Magic was rare, or at least it was harshly prosecuted punishable by death, and so any who possessed such gifts kept them secret. As characters we all began in the Stink (the tannery district), the lowest of the lowly slums within the city walls.This first character was my main character of the campaign, Katya Halvers. She, and her brother, another of the PCs, were originally born in the more affluent areas of the city but now they found themselves here in the Stink. To make a multi-page character backstory short, through some events she is hoodwinked, ends up indentured at the arena, becomes a warrior who uses a glaive/guan dao and effectively dances through combat. She manages to buy temporary freedom from the fighting pits, and the campaign begins. (Katya was built as a hybrid Ranger/Tempest Fighter.)Trying to get the AI to draw a glaive, or halberd, or guan dao… forget it. <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f61b.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":P" title="Stick out tongue    :P"  data-smilie="7"data-shortname=":P" /> So I went with a ‘heavy spear’ with the intent to photoshop in a guan dao blade. I probably generated 30+ sets in pursuit of great images.This one here is pretty much perfect in every way – the expression, the hair (albeit a slight bit short), the stance, and the way the weapon is held:[ATTACH=full]336645[/ATTACH]This one’s pretty good; I’d edit out the quiver (not sure why the AI added it that came from) and the hand position isn’t bad for bringing in a guan dao:[ATTACH]336646[/ATTACH]These two are alright, and I love the extra, extra long hair:[ATTACH]336647[/ATTACH][ATTACH]336648[/ATTACH]And this one’s fun for the way the weapon goes off the drawing, under the pen, and onto the table:[ATTACH]336649[/ATTACH]I like the armour on this one:[ATTACH]336650[/ATTACH]And the character sheet notebook design is cool on this one:[ATTACH]336651[/ATTACH]One funny thing was the number of results that came in with elf ears, though my prompt specifically called out as human! I tweaked the prompt as I created, but here’s where it ended up near the end:Katya Halvers is a teenage human in a D&D world.
