Despite their monstrous appearance, these undead entities are both highly intelligent and surprisingly amicable when encountered by others despite their enigmatic nature. They are occasionally drawn to those that have some variation on the vampirism, and have been known to share their own blood to empower these chosen few with greater abilities and control over their affliction in exchange for service or some other secret condition. Zumon is a pitiful soul, once a starved, lowly goat that devoured the corpse of a dead god in desperation, this act elevated the creature to the status of deityhood it was not prepared for, causing the creature to rampage as it's mind was overwhelmed by the ancient power of its divine transformation. The weathered gods of the Astral Sea, still recovering from their war with the Primodials, were forced to band together to contain this creature but could not kill it, and so instead bound it to the horrid plane of Carceri, the Red Prison. There the creature raged alone, and was slowly forgotten about by the rest of the multiverse. At one point however, the raging stopped, and want was once a mindless creature would become curious of what it was and of the world beyond it's prison. Now this demigod seeks out others, gifting them with power in exchange for knowledge and the ability to see beyond it's limited space. The more knowledge it has gained, the more powerful it has become, and by extension the more powerful the gifts it can bestow. To what purpose it has to seek this knowledge, even he knows not. Maybe this desire stems from the ambitions of the dead god he consumed all those years ago, or maybe its the desire to seek out a purpose for his budding divinity. Kimaria rules over her various breeds of ant children that hunt and forage in the corrupted lands of their tainted and frost covered forest home. Though wary of powerful outsiders, Kimaria and her children are not initially hostile to others unless provoked, and her pragmatic views make her understanding of any unintended conflicts, as the lands are harsh and often require harsh actions for the good of ones own survival.
