Everyone needs to come down/up for this, if for no other reason than we're watching the Transformers Movie. Plus that whole Game Day thing.

If anyone from north of there, from Salina on down thru Wichita, etc, wants to carpool, I have a Bronco and some extra space. And quite frankly could use the help with gas money. Of course, I plan to drive down on friday or saturday and stay with a friend thru the weekend.

For movies, I believe it was HexedDragon that suggested Gamers and Transformers, which sounds like good times to me.

Gamers and Transformers! I am there. Oh and sign me up for Alan's game in the B-C slot.

The Bern is Back

So now that i've reset my password..... well yeah

I'd like to sign up for beth's game and alan's game.

Also, both of you are using point buy... which is cool, but one of you has the bump and one dosent.

Does yes bump mean no extra point buy point each level and no bump mean yes extra point buy point each level or what? Gimme the lowdown.

The Bern

No, bump means the 1 point bump at 4th level that ignores the point buy (from the standard rules).

No one is using the 1 pt./level point buy rule.

No bump means you don't get the 4th level bump. Yes bump means you do get the 4th level bump.

Pharmaceutically speaking, exactly as it is written Bernard. When making a character, you have 28 point buy points to work with. In addition and after you assign point buy points, racial ability bonuses, you get one ability point (i.e. not a point buy point, but an ability point in the usual sense) to apply to your ability scores. You do not apply any llama or gnu points until after you've assigned the yak points. After the animal points are assigned, remove the animal points and stand your head and recite the constitution. Make sure you do NOT drink any lemonade when assigning any points (animal, ability, or point buy). Doing so will level drain your character by 18 levels, to a minimum of 1; unless you have a character with any ECL adjustment bonus above 0 (If you do, you will never be able to play any d20 game again).
Period.
For any further questions, feel free to ask!

Alright, I have decided what to do for Iron Kingdoms, from AEG's Adventure II book:
Time Slot C, table 3, system is Iron Kingdoms (d20)
Four 3rd lvl characters, which can be made by the players (note that IK has some slightly different magic stuff, and a couple extra classes). 28 point buy, 1000 gp for mundane items (no magic items cause they aren't common in IK)

blurb:
So you wan to join the Minutemen?
You think you have what it takes?
We'll see tonight. Six crimes in 12 hours, shouldn't be too difficult, right?
Let's hope not. the penalty for failure is imprisonment. You see the guild has made a deal with the local constable. Anyone who fails to pass is handed over to be imprisoned for past crimes, real or not.
Good luck.

This means Neutral or Evil characters (this is a first for me, it should be fun)

Also, I play Legend of the Five rings CCG and will bring my cards for anyone interested ina agme or two before or afterwards. This is also partly to see if anyone plays here in Dallas, besides me and the Dragon club.
