[Dallas Gameday] Aftermath and Commentary starts on Page 10!

Thanks for all the advice, Rel! I'll certainly keep a lot of that in mind. In particular I hope some people want to get together after the last slot and have dinner...I think it would be a blast!

Psychotic Jim, Drachin, Tori,

Since you all have signed up for the Nevermore Unofficial Pre-Release adventure I would like to give you all the opportunity to see the playtest documents for Nevermore...

If you are interested in seeing them so that you know what you're getting yourselves into send me an email at jaldaen@aol.com with "Nevermore Pre-Release Adventure" in the subject line... I'll send you a NDA and get things rolling so that you can have access to the rules.

As for Suzi and Joseph they are already helping with feedback on Nevermore for which I am quite thankful (thanks you two!)

Finally, there is one last slot open for the Pre-Release Adventure and whoever fills that slot should also email me if you want to see the Playtest docs before the adventure.

Take Care!
Joseph Miller

PS: Bump!

Cool. I'm sending you an email. As for a character I'd like to play, since it's somewhat of a dream world, I think a psion (telepath, seer, or shaper) would be neat if you allow psionics. If not, maybe some sort of spellcaster. I like humans and gnomes the best, but I'm not too picky.

Phear what gnomes will be like in this setting. :D

Has someone snuck you a copy of Nevermore Wil? ;-)

Take Care,
Joseph

PS: I will if you want to send me an email and sign the NDA... I'd love to hear your feedback ;-)

Just bumping this before it sinks too far into oblivion to be found. :D

I've now got a good 4 to 6 DMs for the RPGA events. If anyone is interested in joining and playing RPGA Living events it's all free!

Wil & Zogg (or anybody else for that matter)-

The semester is finally underway, so we've got our first (and probably only) all-club meeting for the Dragon Club set. It will be Wednesday 9/3 at 7:00 pm. If you're interested in coming just shoot me an email.

I think there would be an interest in establishing a board-gaming night, but I've got no idea about prospects for recruiting for RPG's. It depends on how many gamers and potential gamers are among the freshmen.

We'll be pushing the Gameday then, so hopefully we'll have a few more people sign up.

Any word yet on the Saturday RPGA events? I'm seriously considering driving up a day early and playing some Living Greyhawk at the store. It would save me from having to do so much driving in a single day, and it would feel like a little vacation.

Three things

1) Bump.

2) We tested out the adventure today, caught a couple things missing on character sheets (I made new characters for the most part) and decided there was too much combat in the adventure. It was still fun, but now the gameday session should run a bit more smoothly.

3) We still don't have enough morning games. I'm going to try to strongarm another Dragon Club member to run another morning game. I would drop out of Midnight and do it, but OneEyedCyke (a friend that I played with in high school) is coming all the way from Lubbock for it.

If it comes down to it I could drop out of Midnight to run another Nevermore adventure... Who out there is looking for another morning game? If there is enough I'll take one for the Gameday ;-)

Take Care,
Joseph
