Dallas Group Now with forums.

We now have enough people for our own forum. So I made one but it looks like we lost all the posts made to date. That kind of sucks.

Well then, just as a reminder:

I live in Coppell, my main games are 3.X, HERO, and M&M. I've gamed with bento before at last year's DFW ENWorld Gameday- cool dude!

I posted yesterday to see if there is any interest in trying to organize a 2008 DFW ENWorld Game Day. Last year we had it in Bedford, and this time I think we should try for Dallas County. Are any group members over on that side of the Metroplex willing to find some space to hold a Saturday Game Day in October?

It's pretty easy to run a game day. Here's the steps we used last year:

1) Decide on a date
2) Find a locale to hold it
3) Find members to host games (suggest running 1 game per five participants)
4) Get sponsors
5) Publicize event
6) Go and enjoy!

Hey, can I join your group? I'm stranded here in Waco a hundred miles south of Dallas, but I'd love to make a gameday up there some year (this Oct is already too booked).

Heck, at the gameday bento and I were part of last year, we had one guy- der_kluge- come down from OK.

I started the group but only because no one else had. I don't consider it my group, it belongs to all of us, I'm just the custodian at this point.
