Say you have a fighter/Dwarven Defender 8/6 wearing non magical Dwarven Full Plate...is his DR


3/- or 6/- ?

It's 3/-. They do not "stack".

DR from different sources does not unless one of the sources specifically says that it does.

I don't know the exact answer to your question because IDNHMBIFOM, but you should be able to work it out for yourself now. I'd guess it's the lower one though.

Actually, all other effects don't stack. In fact, effects only stack when they are explicitly identified as stacking, such as Dodge bonuses. Also, from dagger's link: "If a creature has damage reduction from more than one source, the two forms of damage reduction do not stack. Instead, the creature gets the benefit of the best damage reduction in a given situation. "
