Damage Reduction on Armor

I am starting a new campain and was thinking of using some varient rules one of which was damage reduction on armor. I was wanting to and an SDC system to that. Does anyone have a system or know of one that has been added to in 3.5

Thanks for the quick reply, I will check that book again. I believe that is where I got the damage reduction from. Does anyone have any other places that might have and stuctural damage compasity sdc for armor that would be about right for 3.5

Perpetrated Press had the Aresnal Book. It's 3.0, but the system is simple enough to convert (I believe it was 'armor provides DR equal to its AC bonus').

I know as registered users you don't have access to ENWorld's search function, but google works almost as well. Go to google, put in

and it will give you postings that have addressed this subject before. There is a ton of stuff, and the pros and cons of various methods are discussed at length.

I won't quote any of it right now (frankly, I'm not terribly interested in the subject), but I did want to point you in the right direction.
