Daredevil: Director's Cut [Spoilers]

What changed in the Hellboy Director's Cut? Did it improve the movie?
I own it but have yet to see it. May I suggest starting a new thread to check? You'll probably get more people to respond as it was a bit more popular than DD. I may even watch it this weekend now that you brought it up... :)

I'd say it did. Nothing really changed, you just got a few more character scenes. A couple new ones with the bad guys and a couple between Liz and Myers. Oh and a fun reinstallation of Rasputin's glass eyeball gag. I haven't seen Daredevil, so I can't compare, but both versions of Hellboy work the same. The DC is just a tad richer on character.

Back when the movie DVD came out I told two of my buddies- "I think I'll wait to get it when the Director's Edition comes out." "Why?" "Because it will be the movie the Director made, and not the one that was cut down by the studio." "It won't be that much better."

<Grumble> For once my gut was right. I should have listened to my gut. Now I have to buy another copy of the darn movie like I did with Red Dawn.

I do that all to often. I jump the gun on a DVD then later have to go backand buy the Directors cut. Looks like I did it again with DD. :(

I did the same but I don't mind owning both versions.

For me its more about the money- well okay not all of it, I saw the one the studio wanted to put out and was fairly disappointed (though entertained). I want to see the one the Director wanted to put out, because that is usually a better movie.
