It's not set in stone, or in this case, final layout yet. All we can hope is that the Wizards' editing staff will allow them, despite some D&D community members expressing that we should leave the past in the past, and find new fresh material.

I don't see why Alternity material shouldn't be updated to d20. After all, Alternity was conceived as a set of generic rules that could be used for any sort of modern to futuristic sci-fi game. WotC later dumped it, presumably in favor of the d20 system. Besides, D&D and Alternity rules were fairly similar.

I was never particularly interested in Star Drive, but Dark Matter was cool. I certainly wouldn't mind running a Dark Matter campaign using d20 rules.
