I can't believe I found this. In the 80's my mom made me read this because she thought D&D was a form of devil worship. People who actually believed this superstitious nonsense should be embarrased. lawl. Anyone who reads this and believes it is a sheep and doesn't really know what the game is like. The only way this is a 'conduit' or anything else is if someone perverts the original purpose to do such a thing, and even then, you can't cast REAL spells... roflmao.

Edit: If you're going to slam D&D, do it right, and don't make up spells.

I've never seen the Mind Bondage spell before. Is it a crappy version of Dominate?

The Chick stuff has been knocking about on the interwebs for a long time now. Now I cannot take Chick seriously since I am a regular partaker of what he refers to as the "Death Cookie" but I do wonder at the purpose of bringing him up again. Expecially as everyone and his dog seems to feel the need to link to "Dark Dungeon" recently, is it an anniversary or something?

They still print them and hand them out at churches etc. There used to be a group that handed them out in front of the center where Gencon was held.

Wow. I had thought even the most religious people were embarrassed by these. I never see them anymore. I didn't know they still thought D&D was bad. I wonder if I can find them at a local bookstore. I think we need to make a "Left Behind" rpg for them, so they can have fun too.

Dark Dungeons really upsets me. I've played D&D since the mid-'80 with several dozen DMs and have played to epic levels several times. NOT ONCE has ANY DM offered me the chance to get THE REAL POWER!

What does a player have to do to get it?

The only person I've ever known to follow the Left Behind novels was an atheist anyway...
