Dark*Matter fans might want to check this out

This news item at GamingReport.com mentions a D*M-like product in the works from WotC, as metioned on Andy Collins' messageboards. I wasn't able to get the link to boards to work, though.

Why doesn't WotC stop screwing around and just release Dark*Matter d20?

Who owns the property? WotC or Cook/Baur?

Assuming it's the former, I'm 100% in agreement.

It's probably the Shadow Chasers campaign book...I thought the rumor was that there were going to be full campaign books based on UA and SC (basically the only support WOTC was going to give D20M)...

Maybe because The Game Mechanics are trying to secure the right to publish said material.

He (JD Wiker) goes on to say in a later thread "I'd love to see Dark*Matter come back, in some form. I just wish that The Game Mechanics could afford to purchase the license from Hasbro."

Looks like if we do see D*M d20 it won't be from JD & crew.
