It may very well be the last one. As much as I enjoy Sophie Turner on Game of Thrones, I don't think she is right for this part. This trailer didn't blow me away.

So many characters, trying to service so much existing movie backstory, and apparently trying to fit in quite a long timescale. It's hard to see an outcome where this whole thing doesn't collapse under its own weight.

ya know, that's a good point. Why is Magneto in this story? Unless they wanted to parallel the Last Stand in some way on purpose.

I would also like to think that after Apocalypse, even Magneto would learn that ya don't let crazy powerful people run around without a bucket of ethics strapped on. Like the uncle of that kid who got vaporized said.

If there is anything to learn from The Last Stand, it's that the whole Dark Phoenix story does not seem like something you can cover in just one movie. It requires multiple movies to set up... and yet here we are again.

I think this is going to be yet again an embarrassing mess.
