Dark Sun Creature Catalog

Ok so my hypeness extends to this product.

Since 4e started classifying things like traps and hazards almost as monsters, I've been thinking they really should be in the same book as monsters.

The DS Creature Catalog is exactly what it should be- a book filled with the tools for making great Dark Sun encounters.

Bravo.

I hope the upcoming Monster Vaults replicate this design idea.

They are both now what the PCs will face in encounters, so why not mix them together.

As not just a DM, but a writer who's recently had cause to include numerous terrain examples in a product...

Yeah I am a firm believer that ALL the stat blocks should be in the compendium.

Monsters
Traps
Hazzards
Terrain
Interactive Terrain Features
Poisons
Diseases
Vehicles



On a side note I think I should give props to WoTC in this thread for keeping the price of the CC the same even despite the printer error.

Top notch.

People scream high an mighty when WoTC does something that displeases them, so I think we should scream back when they do something classy.

I guess the extra cost was paid by the printer... it was their mistake after all...
