Darkwood Buckler revisited

But what if he wants to use a bow without loosing his shield?

Might not be important to some, and I agree, its not *that* important, but I have 2 characters currently using them and they both have bows. If it becomes a light shield, they cant do this anymore unless they switch to a Mithril Buckler, which is slightly more expensive. 1,015gp instead of 215gp.

I also rule that if you do use a bow with a buckler, you dont get the AC bonus for the shield in that round. It says if you use a weapon in the off-hand you dont get the bonus, and my players all agreed that this also applies if you are using a bow and you make an attack in the round.

Or you could just use a masterwork buckler. 165 gp. Clearly you're not a druid since you're willing to use mithral.

Errrr, yep. Forgot about that one, even though I mentioned that myself at the start :). So the only difference is really +50gp and -2.5lbs and usable by Druids.
