Darwin’s World goes d20 Modern!

We are pleased to announce a new edition of our Ennie nominated post apocalyptic RPG. Darwin's World: d20 Modern Edition will feature revised rules based on d20 Modern and will greatly expand on the material put forth in our first installment.

Release Scheduled Changes
This new direction has caused us to alter our release schedule for Darwin’s World. The two class books (Scavengers of the Twisted Earth and Warriors of the Wasteland) have been canceled as the content overlaps. However, much of the material developed for those books will be utilized in the new edition.

Hi,

I have been planning on picking up Darwins World pretty soon, I was wondering if I should wait and just pick up the new version?

In other words is it going to cover the same info as the first book plus new info, or just all new info? Thanks!

It will cover much of the same info plus more. Somethings will be removed in lue of d20 Modern rules (like vehicle combat and firearms) and many ares will be expanded upon (mutations, classes, etc..). We have some work done already, but some sections are still in the early stages, so this print version of the new edition is still some time away.

We just put the 1st edition on sale at rpgshop.com for only $10! So I would suggest picking it in the mean time as we still have several DW releases planned before the new edition as well as a guide to using d20 modern with the 1st edition rules.
