He looked very serious, and there was fear..for her?..in his eyes.</p><p></p><p>"E..Eleyna...what happened back there...it..."</p><p></p><p>Gabe broke off for a moment, struggling with his emotions.</p><p></p><p>"You see there isn't a single piece of glass inside the car? It came from in this car...but...but...Eleyna, it <em>wasn't me</em>. I'd *know*. And...and if it wasn't me..."</p><p></p><p>Gabe broke off again, looking at Eleyna pleadingly.</p><p></p><p>"Oh, God...Eleyna...I'm so sorry I have to...hurt you like this...but...but Eleyna...I think that was <em>you</em>. Listen to me! I..before it happened, did you..did you feel anything? A...a release, inside? Like something in your head suddenly <em>clicked</em>? Like something inside you was suddenly..freed? Please...try to think back..."</p><p></p><p>Frustration appeared on Gabe's face as he tried to explain the nebulous feeling he himself had only experienced once himself. But the frustration didn't linger. The look on Gabe's face was heartbreaking, worry, guilt and pain mingled on his face. Tears were rolling down his face now as he spoke, his words and their effect on Eleyna obviously hurting him.</p><p></p><p>"Eleyna...I...I wish I could be wrong...but inside, I...I know I'm not. That <em>wasn't</em> me. Which means...Eleyna, I think you're like me. I think you...you have abilities too."</p><p></p><p>Gabe clung to Eleyna, praying that his words weren't going to shatter the bond they'd built up only that day. <em>This is so hard...why does it have to be so hard?'</em></p><p></p><p> <span style="color: Red"> (OOC: kid A, hope you don't mind me assuming Eleyna would stop the car when asked.
