Actually Game Trade is my favorite source for checking out upcoming D20 stuff (and learning about D20 publishers). My FLGS saves me a copy each month.

Actually, I can make a connection to d20. The contest is from a magazine with many d20 products. It is for a complete set of DC Heroclix products. The Heroclix rules were written by Monte Cook. Rumor has it Monte Cook has some sort of contact with D&D and d20
