DCC 104 Return to the Starless Sea.

I never really got all the love that Sailors on the Starless Sea got. Like, it's...fine?

Was it just because that was the first DCC module alot of people played for the game at a time where there wasn't much else available?

I'm also not fond of 0-level adventures anymore so a zero level module being a sequel to a previous zero level module (in addition to being sort of counter-intuitive) doesn't hold much appeal to me.

Give me a sequel to Intrigue at the Court of Chaos!

That all being said, I'm a DCC mark, so I'll probably buy it anyway.

I think it’s 1st level too. I think they ran 1st level at 2020 GenCon. Not entirely sure.

I think it being one of the first DCC modules really contributes to its popularity. And it has its good parts. So IMO it's a bit like Keep on the Borderlands in that it illustrates some of the qualities of the system and when a GM tunes it a bit, it can be a great experience, but it also has its flaws and if it were written again today, maybe it would be better.

Same here. If that cover is indeed correct, then it's an odd decision to not follow up with a level 1 adventure.
