DCC 35!! Goodmans new campaign setting!(9/23 Update)

I was originally very interested in buying this. However I just read the contents for the boxed set and it seems a little pricey for what you get. For $70 you get a 120 page book on the world, a 136 page GM's Guide sourcebook, 2 32 page adventures and 4 poster maps...

Average 32 module = $10 (2x10 =20).
Average 120 book = $15 (2x15 =30).
Colour poster map = $5 (4x5 = 20).

I'm not seeing what is 'overpriced' here. I'd love for it to be less expensive, but this looks completely reasonable in the contemporary RPG market.

And thus my wallet gets a little lighter. Thanks for the info Treebore! Now I'll have something else for my wife to give me more looks of utter disdain!

OK, bumping this one last time for the Monday crowd. The only way I'll bump again is if Goodman releases more news.

Check the OP for the original news and the update.

I've been looking forward to this product for a long time!

Now I'll just have to work in Wilderlands of High Fantasy into Aereth, convert some of the Aereth NPCs and Deities to old Greyhawk ones, work in the World's Largest Dungeon and Ptolus (and maybe Rappan Athuk Reloaded) somehow, include Warhammer FRP professions, and convert it all to Hackmaster using Castles & Crusades/FUDGE hybrid mechanics...

Wait. I may be insane.

I've been considering getting this since it was announced. The sample PDF finally convinced me. So I've gone and preordered DCC #35 from Amazon.

Here's hoping I get more use out of it than I have the World's Largest Dungeon.
