DDI Character Builder printer issues

I recently re started my DDI subscription and was starting up running a campaign, but in trying out the online character builder, after a player created a character with the builder, we went to print it and all I get is blank pages printing out. I vaguely remember others having a similar issue. Can anyone tell me how to resolve this printing issue?

Have you tried the workaround of first printing to PDF, and then using Acrobat to print the character?

Yeah, on some systems the DDI makes huge files when you try to print the characters (300 MB+) which causes some printers to have problems. The same thing happens by default when you print to .pdf (using CutePDF or something similar). However, you can change the DPI setting on the PDF printing (under to advanced settings on the print interface) and that will create more reasonably sized files that can be printed.

Not very often, but sometimes I have the same prob. If a reboot my laptop & reboot my printer (older laser), everything prints fine.
