I think the lack of a February update is an anomaly. The update on March 2 is suppose to be pretty big so I think the just held off so they could just update it all at once.

Dragon articles are always 2 months behind in the CB updates. The next update is March 2nd. The last one was Feb. 2nd... nothing was skipped.

Why would a Feb. 2 update not include a Jan 15 article?
The entire Dragon magazine is added to the CB. It is not based on the date of each article. So you should be asking "Why would a Feb. 2 update not include a Jan 29 magazine?". I think they need more time than that to get things into the CB. Each article goes through changes before the magazine is compiled at the end of the month, so they do not add each article as soon as it is released. Sometimes programming changes are needed so it is better to have a month+ window to work on things rather than a week.

Right, hardcover books are on a one month delay; Dragon and Dungeon are on a two month delay. That helps sort out any errata issues before they hit the CB.
They've been incredibly good about updates, hitting every single date so far. They even told us far in advance when the date changed over the holidays.

I thought it had something to do with a gnome's badger... the badger comes out of his lair (*rawr*), and if he sees his shadow we have 4 more weeks until the update.
