D&D 5E DDI

Sorry if this has been covered but is there any word on the new version of DDI?

Will there be phone and tablet apps?

I still need to roll real dice but I like a nice neat character record.

The only app that even came close to being what I envision is KSheet Pro for Android.

I'm not interested in uploading and importing or pdfs.

I want a character generator that I can work from a browser and sync with my phone and tablet and then use at the gaming table.

Dungeonscape (http://www.dnddungeonscape.com) is the new electronic support. The iOS player's release is in the iTunes approval phase and the beta of the web and android versions will be shortly behind that release.


The player's release sounds like it will be a combination Ebook reader (you can purchase the 5e books in electronic format) and character builder.


The next step would be the DM release which would have functionality to run adventures.


The last release is the forge which would allow the creation of custom content.


This is my understanding atleast.
