...Awards or such that the program gathers won't benefit the new guy and it isn't doing well enough that there is a reason not kill it. So, if he replaces it with one of his projects, there's a chance that it will become a hit and that will benefit him.

Anyway, it did have a good run, and an awesome premise. Anyone know of any other showtime series that either has been released on DVD or is in production now with that kind of quality? I've been partaking of HBO's Deadwood, and it's not as good as DLM im my opinion, but it's not at all bad.
