Cameos were fun, and I think they did a solid by the Fox-men films over the past 25 years. Film felt like an appropriate end of the Fox-men era so Disney/Marvel can start over. Cassandra Xavier was bad ass (and portrayed so well)!The BadAll Deadpool's former film buddies are sidelined in favor of a cameo fest. Some really long and really unnecessary fight sequences eat scene time that could have been better spent making this a better story; which it had the seeds of. DP jokes didnt quite land as well and DP is feeling tired at this point.The UglyMarvel multiverse shenanigans dont seem to be panning out. This movie will have a lot more legs than it ought to, but it belongs firmly in the second rate pile of post End Game Marvel stuff. One of the things that worked so well in the previous Deadpool films was the ensemble cast. Keeping the character isolated to a small corner of the X-men/MCU allowed those films to really build a set of fun characters and allow Reynolds to let DP blossom. They decided to jettison all that the previous films built for this really long, yet rather simple, multiverse snore. Doesnt feel like it fits in with DP1 or DP2 which were better films and stories.</blockquote>
