Death of a Legend

Grimhelm

First Post
Germany has lost a great man today. Ernst Andeinarsch, flyer of much fame, has perished. After sustaining 17 bullet shots to both shoulders (a common shot to take as evidenced in cinema), Ernst lost control of his plane and plummeted to the ground trailing plumes of his own blood.

Andeinarsch's fame was so widespread that several of his finger bones turned up rather dubiously for sale as far away as Manchuria only hours after the wreckage of his plane was recovered.

There is no knowing the precise toll Andeinarsch took on the British Flying Corps, but estimates have already reached 1,023 dead British aviators, all attributed to Andeinarsch.

We will miss you, great navigator of the skies. May your angelic wings always be mounted with deadly and precise machine guns.

Amen.
