[December] What are you watching?

Does anyone watch Person of Interest? Is it worth getting into?

It is rather good but too formated, by this I mean; they find the person of interest, the guy starts following them, then there is a twisted that puts the lead in trouble, then finish. They have started to hint at more back story with the two leads, that is showing promise.

I will watch if I remember too. :(

Boardwalk Empire - Rather disappointing and muddling season, with too many sudden bursts of violence that just came across as random. Some buildup and tension would have been better.

Garrow's Law - Well-conceived costume legal series from BBC. Only 4 episodes a season and 3 seasons so far so the storyline is tight.

I'd try it. It has the "Person of Interest of the Week" "problem", but there are aspects that connect various stories, and there are also some background aspects for the main characters (not just the two working together), that make the show interesting. Plus, the lead is a bad-ass, and sometimes you just have to enjoy bad-assery.

Yesterday on Hulu I tuned into this series called "Mongrels" on Hulu. If you're into that kind of messed-up, "Drawn Together" style of humor, then it's worth checking out.

Started to catch up on "Hell On Wheels." The direction is not as tight as Walking Dead and they sure make it hard to like any one character. Everybody has their flaws in the Wild West, even the preacher.

Finally getting around to Band of Brothers: Pacific DVD set I got for X-mas laster year ;).

And as always, PTI.
