Does the reroll ability granted by the luck domain, or the Fate spinner PrC in T&B, work when selecting cards from a deck of many things?

IMO, no but I'm curious as to all of your opinions.

You select a card from the deck.

There is no roll.

Thus, there can be no reroll.

Nope, doesn't work. The reroll abilites are pretty specific in what they allow to be rerolled. Plus I'm not sure how one really rerolls a deck of cards.

Plus, the deck is an artifact level magic item. I wouldn't allow much short of other artifact level magics to affect its operation.
