Defence Bonus?

Snoweel

First Post
I'm wondering if the defence bonus of Star Wars, Wheel of Time and whatever other systems, is part of the OGL/OGC/(Is there a difference?).

So, is it or not?

And if it's not, and you've got details of the defence bonus system, post your email here. Or don't ;)

Yes and a pretty big one. OGL is the license that allows people to publish d20 products. As such no publication is part of the OGL, while many publiscations are released under the OGL. As well an entire product is released under the OGL but not all of the material in the product is Open Game Content.

So, is it or not?
It is not OGC. The only thing from WotC that is OGC is the SRD.

Mouth agape, Snoweel stares up at Drawmack in wonder. "Ess aa dee" he repeats, nodding in confusion...

D20 modern is supposed to go to the SRD in short order, so it should be OGC soon.

However, the defense system used by D20 modern is a little different from the one used by Star Wars.

How is it different?

I'm not sure if that is public knowledge so I am not sure I can say.

Sure, throw out the Carrot and don't let us eat it!! That's cool, I understand. Guess I'll have to wait a few weeks. :D
