[Deities&Demigods] Characters and Divine Rank 0

By the way, for anyone that's interested, it was pointed out to me recently that the divine stat array isn't an automatic thing with quasi-deities. Check out the one's in the Asgardian pantheon and you'll see what I mean (I _think_ that's the right pantheon).

No its not, its a judgment call thing for the DM. In this case, I'm allowing its usage, because I want a superhero battle, without having to convert Mutants and Masterminds. :)

Speed should double, shouldn't it? Anyway...

As I have it, I only start with 1 domain, and grant an additional one as each 'class' of godhood is obtained (one at demigodhood, another at lesser, and so on...)

What you may want to do, if you think they should have outsider HD, is roll the divine rank 1 abilities (and some of the rank 0, I'm assuming) into them as normal levels (however you want the players to gain them).

Also, I read up on St. Cuthbert, another Mortal-Turned-God, and he has the 20 outsider Hit Dice, as does Mystra/Midnight, Kelemvor, and Cyric from Faiths and Pantheons. Seems only Vecna got the shaft.
Neither Mystra, Kelemvor or Cyric have the 20 outsider hit dice in their 3.0/3.5 stat blocks, nor do Azuth, Bane, Torm or Uthgar.

Yup. Ascended deities don't have the outsider HD.

*flips back through Faiths and Pantheons*

How the FRELL did I screw that up? Oops.

Well St. Cuthbert does, but as he's the only one, I'll consider him the exception, not the rule.

Cool.

And yes, the movement rate does double. For Medium size creatures (30 ft) it becomes 60 ft. I should have clarified that.

In the 3.5 De&Ds update the stuff a DR0 gets is directly spelled out.as follows:
Divine Rank: quasi-deities, with a divine rank of 0.
Size and Type: Size remains unchanged. The creature’s type
changes to outsider with the good subtype and it gains the extraplanar
subtype if it visits the Material Plane.
Speed: The base creature’s base land speed increases by 30 feet.
Special Qualities: The base creature gains certain traits by
virtue of its divine rank:
Quasi-Deity Traits: Immune to transmutation, energy drain, ability
drain, ability damage, mind-affecting effects; damage reduction
10/epic; fire resistance 5; spell resistance 32; immortal.
